Why These Injectors Fail
On the 2.2 TDCi the injector is the last component in the fuel path and the one that works hardest. Diesel carrying water or fine grit slowly erodes the nozzle seat, while the control valve wears against its seat every time it opens. As the injected quantity drifts, the ECU compensates until the correction limit is reached and a fault is stored.
Fitting Notes

- Renew the copper washer and O-rings and keep the injector bore clean.
- Recode the injector where the engine management requires it.
